Quality assurance

TECTUBI RACCORDI Bending Division has an efficient quality assurance system which, with the help of customized software, enables the entire manufacturing and commercial process to be checked throughout, right from the entrance of the raw material to the delivery of the finished bends and ensures trackability and identification of the product at any moment. In addition, continuous updating of the reference documents (Quality Manual, Procedures and Operating Instructions), regular audits, internal and external training courses, the analysis of statistic indicators ensure very high quality standards and high customer satisfaction ratings.

Quality control

Thanks to the well-equipped test laboratory built into its premises, TECTUBI RACCORDI Bending Division is able to carry out most of the tests required by the specifications itself, for example:

NON-DESTRUCTIVE TESTING

Dimensional control
Ultrasonic test (UT)
Penetrant test (PT)
Magnetic test (MT)
Hydraulic test

All personnel carrying out non-destructive testing are qualified in accordance with specifications ASTN-TC-IA, EN473 and the PED directive.

MECHANICAL TESTING

Tensile testing on specimens with prismatic section
Tensile testing on specimens with round section
Hardness testing
Impact testing to -50 °C
Bend testing
Compression testing
Metallurgical structure microscopy up to 400x
